Jackpot Records, a cornerstone of the Portland, Oregon music scene, was founded in 1997 and quickly became a destination for music lovers. Named one of the Top 25 Record Stores in the U.S. by Rolling Stone, Jackpot remains fiercely independent and proudly vinyl-centric. We’re more than just a shop—we’re a hub for music lovers of all kinds. From rock to soul, punk to jazz, we celebrate all genres and formats. Our store has hosted legendary in-store performances from artists like Deerhunter, Sleater-Kinney, Ghostface Killah, Rodriguez, and The Black Keys, just to name a few. These live shows have been a huge part of what makes Jackpot a true community space—where musicians and fans connect through the power of music. The Jackpot Records label, founded in 2004, has grown into a trusted name for high-quality vinyl reissues, with over 120 releases to date. We specialize in bringing legendary albums back to life—from the psychedelic gems like Gandalf to iconic works by Etta James, Bill Evans, The Meters, and cult heroes like The Wipers.
