Mercy Corps Northwest

Since 1998, Mercy Corps Northwest has proudly served communities across the Pacific Northwest with entrepreneurial support. We were home to the Oregon Women’s Business Center and a microloan lender in partnership with the Small Business Administration (SBA). Additionally, we hosted impactful programs that reduced recidivism rates and built capacity at nonprofits across Oregon and Washington. Our work has resulted in $16.5 million in grants and loans disbursed to entrepreneurs, along with over 130,000 hours of small business education and support for more than twelve thousand clients. In June 2024, Mercy Corps Northwest initiatives transitioned under the greater Mercy Corps organization. This strategic shift reflects our commitment to ensure that our participants and partners receive clear communication regarding our next steps. We have transitioned our core business development services programs to other agencies throughout 2023-2024, completing all programs by September 2024.
